From the car to the water
Get it to the water
It's a big hull — use the moulded handles (a trolley helps) and set it down at the shoreline clear of rocks.
- Use the bow, stern and side carry handles
- Check the scupper and drain plugs are fitted
- Launch in shallow, calm water
Chair and pedal drive
Set the aluminium-frame chair and drop in the fin pedal drive before you head out.
- Lock the chair frame into position
- Seat the fin pedal drive and test forward/reverse
- Check the rudder moves freely with the hand control
Rig the deck
Mount your gear on the groove tracks, drop rods in the four holders and lower the rudder to hold your line.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a pedal or a paddle kayak?
It's a pedal kayak with a fin drive — you pedal to move, and it reverses too. Your hands stay free for fishing, and a hand-controlled rudder steers.
How much can it carry?
The stated maximum capacity is 180 kg (about 397 lb), enough for a larger angler plus a full load of tackle and a cooler.
What colours are available?
Four solid colourways: Midnight Navy, Garnet Red, Graphite and Forest Green. The colour you choose is the colour delivered — the product photos show the real colours.
Can I fit a fish finder?
Yes. The groove accessory tracks and deck plates are made for mounting a fish finder, transducer and accessories. A fish finder is not included.
Is a 12 ft hull hard to transport?
It's a large, heavier hull — most owners use a two-wheel trolley to move it and roof bars or a trailer to transport it. The trade-off is excellent stability, tracking and storage.
