No — the SD Trail Camera 4K is fully offline. It records to a microSD card with no SIM and no network needed.
How long does the battery last?
It runs on 8 AA batteries. In low-activity standby it can last many months; with frequent triggering, cold weather or lots of night video, expect several weeks to a few months per set. This model has no solar panel.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes. The IP66-rated housing handles rain, snow and dust year-round.
